BRAVE is a mixed media collection of oils in three statement colors with dried rose petals. This is a self portrait of when I had skin cancer. I had reconstructive surgery disfiguring my nose from its prior state with a deep scar. I’ve come to terms that our scars are statements on our bodies describing our lives.Donating an original WITH LOVE, SARAH painting to anyone undergoing an illness or disease each quarter fills my heart with such warmth and joy.
