The collection CLASSICS IN WHITE began with painting my daughter wearing a white dress while at a casino. It was a modern spin on a vintage look that was originally taken from a photograph. I figured why not paint more females wearing white with fun backgrounds, while keeping with the statement theme still. I gave each of them a name and color scheme depicting what the painting was based on. Each painting began from original photography as well. THE MET is based on a White Gala, the BRIDE as you know typically wear white, SOCIAL comes from a white party, NOISE was created from a guitar that inspired white noise, and last is CAPRI those popular little white cigarettes women smoked in the 90’s. The painting is created in oils with rose petals to depict the colorful carpet.
